Tuxedo Palette 1 & 2
Yves Saint Laurent have released their new spring collection and I simply could not resist the urge to get these goodies in my makeup collection. The array of colours in these two palettes are simply breath-taking with excellent pigmentation. These two palettes act well for day to night makeup looks as you can achieve many looks from the two. At £49.00 each, they do come up at quite pricey, but they are indeed worth it as they feel so luxurious.
You have a choice between the Tuxedo 1 palette which is a more everyday neutrals palette, one I know I will be reaching a lot for in my makeup bag. And the other, Tuxedo 2, pictured on the left, which is more for an evening sort of look. In each palette you get 10 eyeshadows, 3 of which are matte and the rest all shimmers leaving you with a huge choice. These palettes are perfect for the Spring transition with a few pops of colours and shimmers to make you into a golden goddess.
Also pictured is the Yves Saint Laurent Couture eye primer in the shade 02. This primer is long lasting, non-greasy and very easy to apply. It makes the eyeshadow apply more evenly and allows the colour to amplify on the eyes. You have choice between 2 shade, she 01 being a matte primer and 02 a shimmer finish. Both cost £23.00 but investing in a good primer means you eyeshadow will last throughout the day.
